Here's a lot of information: http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=Trase+Miller+in+Tulsa&fr=yfp-t-501&toggle=1&cop=mss&ei=UTF-8
Answer 2 :
Hi...they don't give much info on their website, but there is a contact button on the left you could e-mail and ask your question. I see that they are hiring, though, on another link. This is all they say on that page: Travel – Our employees must know about the world to sell it. Therefore, we provide educational opportunities to travel to the destinations we sell. Also, Trase Miller employees are able to experience the destinations they sell while on their own vacation time! Working in the travel industry provides us with numerous opportunities for discounted travel. http://www.tmtulsa.com/index.cfm?page=4

About Oklahoma City and Tulsa traveling idea

Oklahoma City and Tulsa traveling idea?
I’m going to be in Oklahoma City, OKC, from Sept 18 to Sept 21 and visit Tulsa for a day, any one have any traveling idea? Are there any Indian tribes I can visit? Any other touring ideas? Any restaurants in the area that is recommended? Thanks in advance.

Answer 1 :
I have lived in Oklahoma my whole life. I have visited OKC many times and I lived in Tulsa for several years so I feel qualified enough to answer this with some degree of usefulness. In OKC, be sure to check out Bricktown, the OKC Zoo and Frontier City (an amusement park that has a total Western theme). In Tulsa, go by and see the Tulsa Driller and be sure to have your photo taken by him. I would recommend Ron's Chili for a great bowl of southern style chili and an awesome burger. If you prefer Mexican food, Monterey's can't be beat. If you have the time, drive up to Bartlesville and go to the Woolaroc Museum. It is a great western themed musuem that you can get an awesome buffalo burger to eat while there.
Answer 2 :
I live in OK, and am familiar with both Tulsa and OKC. Depending on what you are interested in, I would recommend visiting the OKC National Memorial, Bricktown, and the OKC Museum of Art. I'd also recommend the Natural History Museum in Norman for a look at all the prehistoric life that once dwelled in the area (I believe it is on the campus of OU). The Myriad Botanical Gardens are also very pretty. You could visit the Cowboy Hall of Fame, but personally, I don't think there is much there that is interesting. The capitol building and governor's mansion are interesting and nice, and if you like science or have kids, the Omni-Plex is pretty fun. These places are nice, but (yes, I'm biased) Tulsa is a much nicer city. If you are interested in Indian stuff (sorry, we don't have tribes living in teepees on the plains--this isn't 1850), visit the Gilcrease Museum. It has a lot of Indian art and artifacts from local tribes, and a LOT of paintings by Native Americans or depicting Native Americans. There is also a nice art museum called the Philbrook, which has a beautiful garden. If you are a If you like Asian food, there is a great restaurant called Te Kei's (google it). But there is no shortage of good restaurants in Tulsa, so you definitely won't starve. You will find a lot of them located on 71st Street, along with plenty of shopping centers. While you're in Tulsa, you can visit "The Center of the Universe"--it's actually just a spot located downtown where you can hear your voice echo. Of course Will Rogers is a major character from Oklahoma history, so drive north on Route 66 and visit his memorial museum in Claremore. If you get lost or need to find something, don't hesitate to ask one of the locals. Most people are quite friendly here and willing to help or advise you about what is fun to see, do, where to eat, etc. I have also posted a link for you that lists more fun things to do in Tulsa, but remember, some of them are seasonal so you will need to check before visiting to see if they are open. I hope this helps! Enjoy your trip to Oklahoma!

Answer 1 :
They are pretty bad now and its not susposed to get above freezing today. Here are the #'s and website to the road conditions in OK. 405- 425-2385 or 888-425-2385 http://www.dps.state.ok.us/cgi-bin/weathermap.cgi
Answer 2 :
All major roads are clearing, but still slick. Be extremely careful on bridges and overpasses. They still have many slick spots. Most areas of OK are expecting highs in the mid-30's with sunny skies which will cause alot of slush on the roads. This will all refreeze again when the sun goes down and temps drop down to the 20's. Since you're traveling at 5pm, this will be a problem for you, so use extreme caution. My Mom is on the road going through OK right now. She says I-40 is good, but watch the bridges and overpasses as well. Check road conditions before you leave and use lots of caution. UPDATE: She's on I-40, about at Henrietta and says the roads are bad. (Going toward OKC.) She says only 1 lane is clear. There's lots of cars and semis in the ditch. She said they're moving at about 45 mph and steady. Most areas are hard to pass because of only 1 clear lane. UPDATE2: Eastbound I-40 had a 15 mile total stop in traffic. Westbound is pretty much 1 lane with lots of cars in the ditch. Lots of areas look like slush, but actually froze solid ice. Good luck!!

About I live in oklahoma city, and traveling to tulsa on my motorcycle. do any turnpike toll rates apply

I live in oklahoma city, and traveling to tulsa on my motorcycle. do any turnpike toll rates apply?
i heard that they might be halving the car rate and applying that to motorcycles...i really dont want to pay on my bike and a pike pass seems silly for a motorcycle..easily stolen or lost so i would have to pay every time? i live in okc but going to shool in tulsa so ill be going back home often, do i pay the toll or take another route?

Answer 1 :
try to find another route, are you by any chance going to ORU????
Answer 2 :
Pay the toll or go another way, you can go up by Stillwater and go east or the round about way is thru Edmond on Old 66.
Answer 3 :
pay the toll, the toll road is well maintain plus you can really let loose as the speed on it is at least 70 -75.flat in areas and smooth in others
Answer 4 :
I believe it was Rep. Wesselhof who introduced a bill a couple of years ago to halve the toll for motorcycles, but I don't believe it ever passed. It all boils down to whatever is more important to you: time or money. The most direct route besides the Turner turpike is Route 66

About Dose anyone know anything about "wholesale Travel And Cruises by Tulsa"

Dose anyone know anything about "wholesale Travel And Cruises by Tulsa"?
I was confronted at the restaurant that I run this evening by 2 representative, to what they made seem like a prestigious wholesale travel company. The company name is "wholesale Travel and Cruses by Tulsa" the phone numbers are local numbers, even though they said they were nationwide, their email address is a Gmail account, and their web sight is non existant "wwww.wholesaletravelandcrusesbytulsa.info" It sounds like a crock to me, has anyone heard of this company? it really sounded almost too good to be true, now i think it is.. 60% commission, free vaca's make own hours...

You know the saying, If it sounds too good to be true, than it it probably is. I've recently been suckered into a similar travel club like this based out of MI sold to me in Branson. I found out that this "wholesale" travel club was a crock. THIS travel club told me that I could get airfare like 30% - 50% cheaper which was the main reason I bought into it because of my 3 kids going to see their father in OH twice a year. After purchasing a package, I found that there was NO discount whatsoever in the airfare. In fact I found it cheaper elsewhere myself. Of course, in the contract I signed, they give only 3 days to request your refund. The thing I got pissed about is they don't even give access to any of that information until AFTER those 3 days! Just trust me & STAY AWAY!!!!!

Answer 1 :
A lot of people like the downtown district because there are quite a few different clubs within walking distance of one another so if you don't like one than another isn't to far away. Although brookside which is around the 21st and peoria area, is a more relaxed atmosphere with plenty of bars and restuarants right together also. So it kind of depends on your mood and style

AAA They are pretty good
Answer 2 :
My wife has owned a travel agency in Chicago for 17 years. Times are tough. Commissions have been cut or eliminated for all but the largest (least caring) agencies. If you can find a small local travel agent you will get personal service, but watch for agents without an office and make sure they have been in business for a long time and are a full service agency. Otherwise go with the big guys and do a lot of the research on your own using the internet. Oh! Congratulations!!!!!

Answer 1 :
Call the American Cancer Society in your town. They will provide some transportation funds. Also, the center in Tulsa should have told you this. They must have social workers there - find out and ask for help. This is deplorable that no one helped you out. Even his doctor should have known this. I wish you both the best - Blessings.
Answer 2 :
Contact a local catholic hospital and ask them what programs they have to help or names of pilots that can transfer you for free.
Answer 3 :
There is something called Angel Flight where pilots donate their time to fly patients to other cities for treatments. The website www.aircharitynetwork.org phone number is 877-621-7177 Hope this helps.
Answer 4 :
I am originally from wv too! Have any closer hosp's been considered? I live in NC and MOST of the patients my docs treat are from the southern areas of WV like Beckly, Bluefield, on up to the Huntington-Charleston area (which is where I am from, but already lived here when I was diagnosed, and consequently due to my type this is where I would have been sent had I still lived there). I know Marshall is making some advances with their cancer programs in the opening of thier new cancer clinic at Cabell-Huntington Hospital. I know a lot of ppl that have been treated at Morgantown or sent to Cleveland or Cinicinatti. Although, youre right, cancer treatment in WV just isnt as good as other places. Does the patients hospital have anything like a hospitality house that they can stay at until treatment is finished? Have you tried the American Cancer Society? I think they only help up to 500$, which I know isnt much, but is a start. Other than that you really are on your on. Ask the social workers for any ideas. Fund raise as much as poss. If the patient is ok with this contact the news for community support. Most ppl in WV would be more than willing to donate knowing the lack of med support that is there. And you may just have to start pulling out credit cards and finding that one rich relative

About How much for gas to travel to Tulsa from Oklahoma City

How much for gas to travel to Tulsa from Oklahoma City?
I live in Oklahoma City and wanted to travel to Tulsa to visit my girlfriend. I was wondering about how much it would cost for gas to travel there? excluding turnpike fees and rest stops. Also the car I will be driving is a 2005 Honda Civic. also plus cost to travel back.
Other - Cars & Transportation - 3 Answers
People's Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
Answer 1 :
it will cost a tankful of gas so anywhere from 30$ to 40$ depending on the size of your tank. it should take about 3 and a half to four hours depending on how fast you drive.
Answer 2 :
Well it is about 107 miles strait trip. And your car should get about 25 miles per gallon depending on traffic. So for fuel only your cost should be best guess 5 gallons times the price of gallon. Times that again by 2 if you are wanting round trip. If you plan to travel the city count on about 18 miles per gallon. If you want to add in some other factors. Consider the tire pressure, and maintenance of the car ie, regular oil changes, air filter, and breather valves. Hope this helped.
Answer 3 :
It should cost anywhere from $30 to $45 dollars for a full tank. You should be able to go round trip on no more than one tank. That includes driving around Tulsa while you are there. The toll is $3.50 each way, so $7.00 total. The drive should take you at least 1hour and 30 minutes. Watch out for the highway patrol
